Uptown Girl Luxury Eyeshadow Palette – Charlotte Tilbury

Uptown Girl Luxury Eyeshadow Palette – Charlotte Tilbury

Hello lovelies!

Today I am sharing a new eyeshadow palette that I have been recently using.

I received the Charlotte Tilbury Uptown Girl eyeshadow palette.  At first look I thought this shimmery eye shadow palette was not going to work for me.  Well, I was wrong.

This is a beautiful quartet of champagne, oyster and smoky grey hues that work together to conjure a wearable, subtle smoky eye.

This eyeshadow glides on smoothly and has great pigmentation. I have very oily eyelids and this eyeshadow does not crease and lasts all day.  I love the fact that you can use this for a simple daytime look and add more smoke and sparkle for a sexy evening look.

True to it’s name, The Uptown Girl palette is a classic must have.   The shades compliment all different skin types and eye colours. The shadows are extremely bendable and last all day/night long only creasing ever so slightly to give that girl on the go fashion week affect.

Application Tips

  • For a day look, apply PRIME to the entire eyelid with a backwards and forwards ‘windscreen wiper’ motion. Then apply the same shade to the inner corners of the eyes to open them up. Nestle the ENHANCE shade in the outer corner of the eye socket and blend. Apply the same shade along the upper and lower lashline.
  • For an evening look, follow the above steps and blend the SMOKE shade from the outer corner of the eye, upwards and into the socket. Then apply the same shade along the upper lashline and into the socket in a half-moon shape. Also run it along the lower lashline.
  • For a night look, follow the above steps and apply the POP shade to the centre of your eyelid for amped up glamour.

Although the shades are shimmery, they look great for daytime looks as well as evening.

I loveee the color tones, I wish I experimented with eyeshadows more, I don’t know why I dont- I just feel like eyeshadow doesn’t really suit me. But those ones are crazy pretty esp after seeing the swatches!

I wasn’t big on eyeshadow but started wearing it more often. Love this palette

Looks like a great staple palette! I picked up the Sophisticate palette from CT this year – I’ve played around with it and it’s really nice. It’s an all matte palette which is quite different from her other palettes which tend to be quite glittery.

I’m not really a glittery eyeshadow kind of girl but it doesn’t really go on too glittery – it does give a nice sparkle but not disco like lol. I never knew she had a Matte eyeshadow – I will have to try that one out next time.
