Pamper Yourself Four Seasons Style

Pamper Yourself Four Seasons Style

My husband and I like to treat ourselves to massages several times a year.  We do enjoy the Scandinavian Spa in Blue Mountain but it was completely booked.  We have never been to a spa in Toronto so thought this would be a good time to try it out.

We decided to book our spa experience at the Four Seasons Hotel Toronto.  The Four Seasons Hotel Toronto is located in the heart of Yorkville, downtown Toronto’s most glamorous shopping and restaurant quarter.
The Four Seasons hotel is stunning.   From the moment you walk in you know it is pure luxury.  From the doormen to the beautiful lobby area.

The Spa is located on the ninth floor of the Hotel, the spa adjoins a sunlit indoor relaxation pool, co-ed whirlpool and outdoor terrance overlooking Toronto.  They have spacious locker facilities that features a steam room and personal grooming amenities.

Aesthetically simple and serene, the Spa, our sun-filled urban luxury retreat, is among the largest in Toronto, with over 2,787 square metres (30,000 square feet) of space to relax. The Spa offers 17 spacious treatment rooms, two steam rooms, and a salon with hair, manicure and pedicure stations.

We checked in half hour early for our couples massage.  My husband was escorted to the men’s change room and I was escorted to the women’s.   I was assigned a locker where I could change and securely leave my belongings behind.  Once I was set in my plush robe, the attendant showed me around the spa facilities.

The sitting area is a serene sitting area that offered tea, water, fruit, and other light food items.

Once ready, I was asked to wait in the lounge area for my masseuse to come get me.  I think I could have sat there all day.  The loungers are very futuristic looking and comfy that I almost fell asleep.

My husband and I were in a room with two massage beds.  Serene music was playing and the room was lightly lit.

The massages are performed using aromatherapy oils from head to toe. They use a natural, botanical blend of seven vegan oils for every massage, providing you with a deeply hydrating treatment with excellent anti-ageing benefits.

We decided to have the deep tissue massage.  They use a special blend of peppermint, eucalyptus and rosemary, this deep tissue massage will naturally release your muscle tension. Incorporates mainly forearm and elbows and some light stretching to ease tension from your body.

I also had the INSTANT ANTI-PUFFY EYE & WRINKLE TREATMENT Infused with hyaluronic acid, this eye gel mask with extreme decongestive properties instantly helps reduce signs of fatigue. Immediately hydrated, the eye contour area is fresh, visibly smoothed and more rested.  I enjoyed the eye treatment.  I felt the cooling effect of the eye treatment as it was applied.  It left my eye area feeling fresh and rested.

The shower area had everything you needed from shampoo, conditioner, body wash, razors, mouthwash deodorant, hair brushes, shower caps, and so much more.

After my massage I sat in the steam room for a bit.

Although we didn’t use the pool area, it is stunning and you can lounge here all day.

Everything about the Four Seasons Spa is luxurious ….would you expect anything less from the Four Seasons?  It was a wonderful experience and we left extremely relaxed after our massages.  We are looking forward to going back.

Have you experienced any spa’s in Toronto that you would recommend?

I love the way you provide a picture for most of the things to make it easier and appealing for the readers to understand. I truly agree with you on the aesthetic look and feel of the spa interior. Futuristic yet comforting!! xx❤️
