It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Yes, it’s that time of year again where kids are anxious about going back to school and parents are counting down the days to get some sort of structure back into their kids’ lives (and for our sanity as well). That brings us to back to campus shopping. It seems like every year I am buying the same school supplies over and over again. Now that my daughter is in college she wants to change up her room so that it will better reflect her personality.
I’m so glad that Walmart makes shopping a breeze with one-stop shopping for affordable and stylish décor. Walmart has on-trend, quality dorm décor that fits every budget. I was able to purchase some essentials for my daughter for under $150 without having to run around from store to store.
This Zebra Stripe Bed-in-a-Bag is a very affordable bedding choice ($59.97). This set has a stylish and colourful print that includes one fitted sheet, one flat sheet, one pillow case, one sham and a comforter.
My daughter is all about warmth and comfort. This Mainstays Micro Fleece throw ($5.47) is the perfect cover that complements her décor and will keep her warm on those cooler nights.
This plush Hit Snooze Printed Body Pillow($16.88) is the perfect decorative touch for any room and is super soft and cozy for cuddling up-I wish I could hit the snooze button myself!
Show Me The Light
Lighting is an essential for late night studying, but this Sparkle Glitter Speaker & Desk Lamp ($29.98)is so much more. This light contains a built in speaker for any smartphone or tablet that can be hooked up via Bluetooth. She will definitely be getting a lot of use out of this trendy and affordable lamp.
I don’t know any teenager who doesn’t have a bedroom floor cluttered with clothing, this handy Pop Up Hamper($24.98) is a must- have for any bedroom.
My daughter is not really a neat freak but I’m hoping these hangers will help keep her clothes off the floor. This pack of lightweight and durable Neatfreak Clothes Hangers ($2.97) are perfect for every closet for optimal organization and wrinkle-free clothing.
I’m sure there are going to be more things that she will need but I think she is off to a good start. Where do you shop for your back to school needs? Have you started back to school shopping yet?
