The Estancia La Jolla Resort & Spa is nestled between La Jolla and Del Mar. This once equestrian ranch has maintained their Spanish colonized architecture with a modern flair. The 210 guestroom and suites hacienda-style resort feels like you are in a Spanish villa.

Checking in was a breeze as we pulled up to the front doors of the resort and were greeted by the valet who took care of our luggage for us while we were quickly checked into our rooms. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and immaculately manicured with 10 acres of lush gardens, quiet courtyards, and fireplaces throughout the resort. The rooms are tastefully decorated sun-filled rooms and equipped with plush signature bathrobes, a Keurig, mini-fridge, work desk, flat-screen television and of course wireless internet.

Things to Do near Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa
This hotel is perfectly situated away from it all but close enough but yet just a short drive away to local stores and restaurants. You can enjoy your day relaxing by the heated saltwater pool and whirlpool or pamper yourself in the internationally-acclaimed spa.
This is a popular resort for weddings, in fact, there was a wedding during our stay and I can see why they chose this location to celebrate their special day.
The resort offers complimentary shuttle service within 5 miles of the hotel. Estancia offers easy access to the top sights and recreational activities found in Southern California. If you love to golf then you can tee off at a cliff-top PGA course. If golf isn’t your thing then hike among the nation’s rarest pine trees or explore some of California’s best beaches. The Spanish style architecture and lush grounds give this resort an atmosphere of peaceful calmness. There are so many beautiful nooks throughout the resort where you can enjoy the view in quiet contemplation. This is where Estancia really shines and is different than other bustling hotels. Even their signature poolside cabanas give an air of relaxed luxury which honestly I could spend the whole day at. So If you’re looking for a truly “unwinding” style getaway in a memorable location, where you can relax and slow down time, then Estancia La Jolla resort and spa should be your first choice.
