Visit Paradise Beach’s younger sibling, the small but mighty, Super Paradise Beach. It may be little but it has a hive of activity with a smattering of beach bars and the boats that sail from Super Paradise to other Mykonos beaches down the coast.

This gorgeous spot is surrounded by rocky hills and gazes out over a sea that shimmers in reply. Super Paradise Beach definitely lives up to its name – it’s picture-perfect with soft golden sans, turquoise waters and a lively atmosphere.

Elia Beach, Mykonos Beach

As the longest beach in Mykonos, Elia Beach has quite a reputation, and it more than lives up to it. It’s full and bustling during the high season when tons of busses and boats bring visitors to the seaside.

Mykonos beach bars line the coast and the air is filled with music along with the fresh sea breeze. Mingling with this party atmosphere is the many water sports it’s got going on. Elia beach is the perfect spot to partake in some parasailing, water skiing and windsurfing, or take in stunning views of the bay.

A direct bus runs from Mykonos Town to Paraga, making it beyond easy to reach. Impressive headlands separate 2 halves of this sandy paradise.

The southern end is quieter, so it’s perfect for relaxation and swimming in the lapping water. The northern side is much busier with a bustling collection of tavernas filling the beach with music, and tons of water sports to choose from.

Kalafatis Beach, Mykonos Beach

This amazing beach on the eastern coast of Mykonos feels like an island haven with white buildings lining the coastline and shimmering ivory sands. The water can be choppier here but it feels endlessly deep, with pockets of rich blue.

The stunning bay feels like a giant swimming pool, just watch out for a few rocks as you go in. It’s one of the best beaches for families where children can play freely and there are water sports galore.

It’s easy to reach via a bus that departs from the Old Port, but there are only a few restaurants so it’s still quieter than the party beaches. Because of its location, it’s also an ideal spot for windsurfing, it could even be your chance to learn?

Agrari Beach, Mykonos Beach

Looking for no crowds? This is the beach for you. This quiet and secluded cove is covered with fine white sands and the atmosphere is beyond amazing.

There’s no direct bus route to this beach but Elia Beach is just 15 minutes away – and it’s worth it for the gorgeous peaceful environment. You’ll be rewarded for your walk with smooth sands and views of the breathtaking azure sea.

 

Megali Ammos Beach, Mykonos Beach

If you’re a true blue windsurfing fan, this is the beach for you. This gorgeous beach shimmers with fine golden sand and is still fantastic for swimming (even though it can be windy because of how open it is).

With the sun filling the water with light, it’ll be hard to resist a dip in the inviting bay. Rugged hillsides surround the Megali Ammos Beach where cobalt waves roll onto the sand. One of the many upsides to this windswept beach is it provides the ultimate windsurfing conditions.

Agios Sostis Beach, Mykonos Beach

This hidden gem feels truly untouched between rocky headlands that keep it secret and carve Agios Stefanos into a perfect bay. As part of the road less travelled along Mykonos’ northern coast, this beach remains unspoiled and uncrowded – perfect for a tranquil getaway.

However, Mykonos is quite friendly towards nudism on its beaches, and it is more popular on quieter beaches like this. Enjoy every moment at this gorgeous beach where all you can hear is the sound of the lapping surf and birds swooping overhead.

Agios Stefanos, Mykonos Beach

Like a mirror image, this beach is just down the coast from Agios Sostis. It is the closest beach to Mykonos’ major port and it can be quite surreal to watch cruise ships glide past as your recline on the golden shoreline.

Panormos Beach is surrounded by incredible cliffs with a restaurant atop it, a great spot to grab some tasty Greek cuisine. The beach club here can be a little pushy so taking your own supplies or umbrella could be handy.

Kapari Beach, Mykonos Beach

Under the serene gaze of the chapel of Agios Ioannis, this underrated beach is a beautiful place to be. This quiet cove is framed by rocky outcrops, making it a private playground where you can enjoy a splash in the sea.

Because of its prime spot on the western coast, there are no intense winds, which makes swimming a dream. It is quite tricky to reach Kapari Beach but this guarantees an unbeatable tranquil feel.

Kapari doesn’t have any big restaurants or tavernas, so come equipped a day in the sun (don’t forget your water).

Agia Anna Beach | Mykonos Beach

If you want ‘off-the-beaten-path’, look no further. There are actually two beaches called Agia Anna on Mykonos. The first is a quaint cove, right next to Kalafatis and a rustic fishing bay. It has a cozy feel to it and is one of the most traditional spots on the island.

This tiny, tranquil and delightful beach is the perfect place for a dip and a doze. The second looks like the poster child for Mykonos, with its rippling blue water and pristine sun loungers, it’s a beautiful place to bask in the sunshine.
