Best things to do at Atlantis Resort, Bahamas

The Atlantis Bahamas is a very large resort so one of my biggest Atlantis tips is: be prepared to walk (and pack your comfy walking shoes). There are so many amazing things to do at Atlantis Bahamas – it feels unreal at times.
If you like staying in resorts where you don’t need to leave the property then this one has it all. You really don’t need to leave the resort unless you would like to explore the rest of Nassau (which I would highly recommend that you do).
At times, when we walked through the casino (yes, there is a casino), I felt like we were in Las Vegas. Then I’d look around and see the incredible ocean view.
I’ve compiled a list of the top 25 things to do in Atlantis, so sit back and start picking out your favorites.

1. Stay at the Coral at Atlantis, Bahamas
I stayed in the newly renovated Coral at the Atlantis, Bahamas. The Coral has a laid-back atmosphere and offers family-friendly accommodations. The rooms are decorated in fresh ocean hues and soft palettes of coral and sandy golds with a beach ambiance. Book your stay at Atlantis Bahamas here.

Each Deluxe Room features amenities including either a king-size or two queen beds. You can also enjoy full balconies overlooking the grounds, the Atlantis waterscape, or the sparkling blue ocean waters.

I stayed in the Deluxe Room with water views (I was overlooking the marina). I found the Coral rooms to be extremely spacious – big enough for a family of four. It is also the closest to Marina Village, which is perfect for enjoying the many things to do at Atlantis.

2. Enjoy One of the 11 Pools

What I love about The Atlantis Bahamas Resort is that they have something for everyone. If you are interested in lounging by the pool then take your pick from one of the 11 distinctly different pools the Atlantis as to offer. This is absolutely one of the best things to do at Atlantis for free.
3. Rent a Private Cabana
There are 31 private cabanas to choose from so you’re totally spoiled for choice. A private cabana is great when traveling with a family as they’re spacious and offer poolside access. Not to mention, they’re also close to the beach, offer food and drink service, a private changing area, and comfortable accommodations for up to six people. Reclining in your personal cabana is definitely one of the most relaxing things to do in Atlantis, Bahamas.
4. Enjoy a Movie at the Atlantis
The resort offers recent Hollywood blockbuster movies at the Atlantis Theatre in the convention center that is complementary to all resort guests. For a relaxing and fun night, this is one of the top things to do in Atlantis, Nassau, Bahamas.
5. Visit the Marine Exhibits

One of the best things to do at the Atlantis Resort is to explore the incredible collection of marine habitats and marine exhibits – lagoons, caves, coral formations, and breathtaking underwater ruins.

Experience this unforgettable showcase of exotic marine life ranging from sharks to rays, barracuda, piranha, eels, and even endangered alligators.

Atlantis is home to the largest open-air marine habitat in the world encompassing 14 lagoons, eight million gallons of ocean water, and more than 50,000 aquatic animals representing over 250 marine species.

At the Atlantis, Bahamas, things to do are in no short supply. It has three beaches available to guests – Cove Beach, Paradise Lagoon and Atlantis Beach.

16. Walk with the Sharks
