Headed by Executive Chef Ian Goard, The Pacific Restaurant & Terrace is a bistro-style dining venue that makes use of regional ingredients in both classic and creative dishes. Carnivores will enjoy the grilled top sirloin, confit pork saddle, or wagyu beef burger, while veggies can try the arctic char – gnocchi with cauliflower, celery root, leeks and fennel, in a lemon caper butter sauce.
These are best paired with wines suggested by the in-house sommeliers, though there is a wide selection of beers, ciders, cocktails and spirits, if you prefer.
The Hotel Grand Pacific’s main restaurant is open daily from 7-11am for breakfast and 4-9pm for dinner service. There is a happy hour from 4pm to 5.30pm. There is also a children’s menu and room service can be ordered from this restaurant.
