After our wine tasting at Grgich Hills Estates, we decided to head over to Robert Mondavi Winery as it was on the way back to our hotel.
A little about Robert Mondavi Winery
Robert Mondavi established his namesake winery in 1966 with a vision to create Napa Valley wines that would stand in the company of the world’s finest. He chose To Kalon Vineyard in the heart of the Napa Valley as the home for Robert Mondavi Winery. This first-growth vineyard, located in Oakville, California, is renowned for producing some of the finest Cabernet Sauvignon wines in the world, as well as for its Sauvignon Blanc grapes, from which Mr. Mondavi crafted his signature wine, Fumé Blanc.

We didn’t actually taste any of the wines ( what a shame- but seriously, after our wine tasting at Grgich Hills Estates, we were all wined out ) We have previously tried several of their great wines.
We simply could not pass up visiting Robert Mondavi Winery as their grounds are stunning.
This is the entrance of the grounds.
Trying our skills at selfies 🙂
I feel like I am in Europe.
They have patios scattered throughout the grounds.
Look at the details of this door……..beautiful.
Grapes and more grapes……..:)
