On our recent Montreal weekend getaway we had high expectations for our Sunday brunch at Maison Boulud in the Ritz Carlton Montreal. Though we had visited the Toronto location, the garden setting in this hotel is what we were really excited for. To our delight we were seated at one of the loveliest tables that were right beside the amazing garden and duck filled pond. This oasis, in the heart of Montreal, is absolutely stunning.
After ordering coffee and morning cocktails we decided to forgo the buffet option and order off the brunch special menu which had a number of gourmet options. For me the obvious choice was the stuffed zucchini flowers followed by the lobster roll. My husband started with the smoked salmon with egg and potato latkes followed by hanger steak and eggs. The pictures of the food shows the amazing presentation and detail of each dish. Everything was cooked to perfection and the freshness of the top quality ingredients came through in every bite. My husband said that his hanger steak was one of the best he has ever had and it was also cooked to perfection. I have had a few lobster rolls in my time, but nothing beats the medley of ingredients in this delicious roll. The desserts we had were simple but equally delicious.

This has been without a doubt one of the best brunches we have had. The staff provided exceptional service and we always felt relaxed even in this posh setting. There are certain restaurants you would want to celebrate special occasions and expect a fine meal with great service and this is certainly one of them.
We had a wonderful brunch and I would highly recommend visiting Maison Boulud in Montreal for an exceptional dining experience. Thank you Maison Boulud for a having us.

This looks so good! My sister just moved to Montreal and she doesn't have all the social media stuff but I just emailed this post to her! I know she'll love it! Did you have a chance to do afternoon tea there? I wanted to do it when I visited in April but ran out of time.
