My Carry-On Travel Essentials

Hello Lovelies!!

Well, 2016 is coming to an end.  There were some ups, some downs and some what the hell was that kind of days but they will soon be behind us.  A New Year, a new beginning, a new start…….

My husband and I have decided to spend New Year’s eve in Palm Springs, California.  Yes I know, we just got back from San Francisco, Napa, and Pebble Beach but I miss Southern California.  It’s been 8 years since we have visited Palm Springs and San Diego area.

I’m trying decide what to pack.  I usually over pack……you know, just in case and then never wear everything I brought.  I am still working through that but here are some things I am packing in my carry on:

Lindt 90% chocolate – I gave this to my 5 year old niece, she insisted that she would like it.  OMG the look on her face when it started to melt in her mouth…..priceless.  Needless to say, she won’t be touching my chocolate anymore.  I love it – anything less tastes just like sugar to me.

Buddha Brand Hungry Coconut chips – If you know me, you know that I L.O.V.E anything coconut.  This is a perfect healthy snack for on the go.

Burt’s Bees – Cucumber and Sage facial cleansing towelettes.  These are great for freshening up. These soothing cucumber and Sage towelettes remove makeup, cleanse, and tone in one easy step, leaving skin naturally clean without the need for rinsing.

Vichy Ideal hand and nail cream – it is super dry on the plane, I hate it when my hands are dry.  This is a must.

Vichy Mineralizing Thermal Water Facial mist – did I mention it is dry on the airplane!!!

Saje Peppermint Halo Headache Remedy – Yes, this does help with headaches but I also love it because it is refreshing and awakening.

Charlotte Tilbury Powder Airbrush Flawless Finish – I usually put this on in the morning and I’m good pretty much all day but I like to keep it in my bag for touch ups.

Tangle Teezer Detangling Hairbrush – I hate carrying hairbrushes in my bag.  They are big, take up too much room and snag on everything.  The Tangle Teezer is the perfect size and has it’s own cover so it doesn’t snag on anything in your bag.  I love how it leaves my hair soft and smooth and tangle free.

Rodial Stemcell Super-Food Glam Lip Balm– I am loving this rose flavoured lip balm.  It instantly rehydrates and smooths my lips.

Stila Stay all Day Liquid lipstick Naturally Nude – I love that these shades are beautiful nude colours.  I am loving these creamy matte lip colours that stay put all day and they are smaller size so won’t take up loads of room in my bag.

Divine Essence Zen Meditation Oil blend – orange, black spruce, cedarwood – Atlas, and frankincense essential oils.  This oil blend is so refreshing.  I like to rub a few drops between my hands as an antibacterial and sniff it as a wake me up.

Tom Ford reading glasses – without these I am not seeing much 🙂

Tom Ford sunglasses – I need my sunnies for when we land. Don’t want to be digging for these.

Earbuds – to listen to some podcasts or to watch movies.

Gum (not pictured)

What do you like to pack in your carry on?
