My Travel Wellness Helpers

When I travel I always pack a few supplement essentials.  Here is what I am packing:

Orange Naturals Calm Flights – helps bring temporary relief of mild mental anxiety, apprehension and fear related to flying. Although I am generally okay with flying, with all the running around and trying not to miss my flight and that general feeling of did I pack everything, that will give anyone a little anxiety.  This is the first time I am trying this product so will see if I feel a difference.

Orange Naturals Probiotics are a must for me.  Make sure you buy the shelf stable probiotics, that don’t need to be refrigerated.  These help with digestive health.  I find that probiotics help me with stomach upsets….no one wants that on vacation.

Orange Naturals Oil of Oregano – this is another must!  I got sick the last two times I went on vacation.  I am not sure if I caught a bug on the airplane but each time I got sick I took Oil of Oregano like it was going out of style and I found that this helped minimize symptoms.  Warning – it tastes absolutely horrible.

Melatonin – for those times that you can’t fall asleep, especially for jet lag.  We are travelling to California so I may not need it when I’m there because I’m sure I will be falling asleep at 8pm their time (11pm our time) but will probably need to take it when we get back.  Melatonin is a hormone the body makes that regulates the cycle of sleeping and waking. Taking melatonin may help “reset” your sleep and wake cycle.  Choose one that dissolves under the tongue.

Activated Charcoal – this is a must for any stomach woes.  I am travelling to the US so don’t have to worry about any tropical bugs but there is always a chance of eating something that doesn’t sit right.  Activated charcoal is perfect for diarrhoea, flatulence or any form of food poisoning or digestive distress. No one wants flatulence on the airplane :

Orange Naturals MagPop Magnesium – this is a magnesium infused effervescent drink that dispenses an ample dose of magnesium glycinate, vitamin C and electrolytes with every serving. All you have to do is add water and enjoy!  I always feel dehydrated on an airplane so this is a great addition to my water.  Magnesium is also great for helping one relax.

Are there any supplements that you can’t travel without?
