Happy New Years Day!!
We decided to have breakfast at Cheeky’s – I would highly recommend this restaurant. You will have to get there early and put your name on their list. There will likely be a line when you arrive but it is worth the wait.
Flight of Bacon
Huevos rancheros
Blondie’s Eggs Benedict
We were all set to go up the Tram today but when we arrived we saw that the sign said it was a three hour wait!!!! OMG – I am not waiting 3 hours.
Our drive leaving the Tram after we saw the enormous line up.
So instead we did the next best thing…..we went shopping! lol
I have been to a lot of outlet malls throughout the US, this Premium Outlet Mall has to be the best outlet mall we have visited. We shopped here the last two times we visited and it always stands out in my mind. It has a nice mix of high end and regular stores. I haven’t seen deals like this in a long time.
Me showing off! 🙂
Well, shopping pretty much took up the entire day. The mall was extremely busy and people were still arriving when we left.
We drove back to our hotel to freshen up then we went to Roy’s for dinner.
I love Roy’s. We always visit Roy’s restaurant when we visit California and Arizona. We decided to order from the Aloha Menu (Happy Hour menu).
Szechuan spiced pork ribs, Tempura crusted Ahi Roll, Crispy Chicken Spring Rolls, Hawaiian Martini
Pineapple upside down cake
Everything was delicious.
After dinner we went to The River at Rancho Mirage. There wasn’t too much there. A lot of stores shut down since the last time we visited.
Until tomorrow’s adventures.
